In the face of the constantly growing flood of images released by the media, David Godichaud’s photographs offer us the opportunity to see the world from his unique perspective. Beauty, humour, calm, his images show us in a penetrating way how we live, how we present ourselves to others, and what we value. He enables us to see things that have seemed familiar to us in his personal way.
Godichaud graduated in photojournalism from the International Center of Photography of New York. He tries to present and publish the same photos in the context of art photography, in exhibitions , in journalism and hopefully pretty soon in art books.
He has been teaching photography for one decade at Istituto Marangoni, school of fashion and design in Paris.
